Rules and Regulations
  • General provisions:

1.1. The participants of the tournament are obliged to follow these rules and the instructions.  

1.2. The latest version of the licensed game published by RIOT is required.

1.3. The participant must apply only one licensed account and nickname. The existence of multiple accounts is prohibited. Any activity aimed at transferring the game account to another player is prohibited. The participant is required to inform the organizer about any  changes.

1.4. The citizens of the Republic of Armenia, who have a residence permit in Armenia and are aged 16 years or older, are allowed to participate in all the tournaments organized by the Armenian Esports Federation.

1.5. The payment of the tournament is made within 60 calendar days after the end of the tournament. Applying for income in the form of winnings and prizes are: the only tax rate on personal income, which is set at 21%. 

1.6. The participants, who have won the prize-winning places, are obliged to provide photos of an identity card (scans), as well as a personal bank account. Each prize winner must provide the required information in one folder. In the absence of any information, the prize will not be paid out. In the case that the prize payment needs to be carried out to a third party, it is necessary to provide scans of documents of this person and a statement from the participant.

1.7. The organizer has non-exclusive rights to a sound, images, including but not limited to the use of persons and names: the right to quote, copy, apply for promotional/advertising/announcement of show programs; reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, display, distribute, broadcast and transmit voice and image involving names in any form, without prior notice or any other compensation to the participant.

 The participant confirms, among other things, that the organizer has the right to use the image for creating a show program and applying it in the production of advertising or photo, video, television, and other materials that will not damage the image of the participant. The organizer has the right to produce, distribute and apply the materials  described above in the territory of the country without exception and for unlimited time of use.

1.8. By participating in any activity of the tournament, the participant acknowledges compliance with these rules and regulations of the tournament, and agrees that in case of violation of the rules, may be disqualified from the tournament.

  • Tournament procedure

3.1. The game is played by two teams of 5 people each. It is allowed to register 1 (one) player as a substitute. The team’s line-up must be unchanged throughout the tournament.

Substitutions are prohibited after the start of the tournament.

3.2. The tournament is held in Double Elimination format (Bo3 version) and the Play-off in Bo5 version.

3.3. The team which is higher in the tournament bracket in the first match, must create a match lobby and choose the sides. In all subsequent games, the teams switch sides.

3.4. Only participants, referees and broadcasters are allowed to be in the match lobby.

3.5. The tournament will be held on the Summoner's Rift map and will continue until the winning team is determined by any of the following:

- fulfillment of the ultimate goal (Nexus destruction)

- capitulation of the team

- awarding a technical defeat

3.6. Within 5 minutes after winning one of the rounds of the match, each winning player must submit the result to the respective Discord chat.

3.7. Referees have the right to replay any match.

3.8. Technical defeat

3.8.1. In case of a delay of more than 15 minutes from the start of the match, the team may be awarded a technical defeat in the game.

3.8.2. The matches start only in 5x5 format, if one or several players of both teams do not show up for the match, the team may be awarded a technical defeat.

3.8.3. If serious offensive speech is used during a match, a team may be awarded a technical defeat. As evidence, the participants are required to provide a screenshot with offensive statements. The defeat is valid only after the referee's confirmation.

3.9.  Disconnection, restart, pauses.

3.9.1. Disconnection is considered to be any interruption of the network connection during a match due to a problem with the system, network, computer, voltage problems.

3.9.2. If the team is experiencing technical problems, it has the right to pause  the game.  The total number of pauses can not exceed three per match. The total duration of the pauses is no more than 10 minutes (3 minutes for each of the pauses).

3.9.3. The team has the right to longer pauses (up to 15 minutes), according to the opponent’s consent. 

3.9.4. The team that paused the match must explain the reason to its opponent in the Discord match chat. 

3.9.5.  If, after a pause, one of the players starts the game without warning the other team and getting confirmation from their side, this action may be regarded as a violation of the rules. If this action seriously affected the match, then the team may be awarded technical defeat by the referee's decision. For this situation, the screenshot should be provided as a proof. 

3.9.6. In case of replaying the match, the players must select the same items, characters, sides. 

3.9.7. In Bo3 matches, the pause between games should not exceed 10 minutes. In case of problems during the match, the duration of the pauses can be increased by the referee's decision.

3.10.   Penalties

3.10.1. For non-compliance with the rules, the teams will get penalties.

3.10.2. If one team violated one of the points of the regulations, any evidence is accepted by the chief referee and considered in private. For this situation, the schedule of matches may be suspended until all the details and circumstances of the violation are clarified.

3.10.3. Penalties are set by the chief referee of the tournament and reported to the team captains.

3.10.4. Each violation will be punished with penalty points. Each team can earn a maximum of 3 penalty points, after which it will be disqualified.

3.10.5. Penalty points will be determined based on violations found by the administrator or chief referee. The most common violations are being late for the game, wrong or inappropriate nicknames, unauthorized substitutions of players, and non-sporting aggressive behavior.

3.10.6. The tournament organizer has the right to unilaterally change these rules and regulations. It is not necessary to notify the tournament participants.

  •  Participants

4.1.  In case of doubt, each player must pass an additional check at the first request of the tournament referee. The tournament organizer has the right to request the participant to confirm age, citizenship, etc. At that time, the participant is obliged to provide documents that guarantee the right to participate, including a photo, a scanned image of the identity card.

4.2. The participants are obliged to observe the principles of sportsmanship and fair play behavior, to show respect to the tournament organizers, referees, spectators, as well as towards the other participants of the tournament.

4.3.  Each participant must join our Discord platform.

4.4.  To participate in the tournament the participant needs:

  • Have an account
  • Submit an application to participate in the tournament
  • Have at least 20 open champions

4.5. The participants of the tournament are prohibited from using scripts, any software that affects the game mechanics, including programs designed to change the settings in the game for gaining an advantage or creating obstacles to the normal course of the opponent's game.

4.6. All players of the team must have a minimum of 10 levels when registering for the tournament.

  • Registration

5.1. The registration will be carried out within the period indicated on the posters or announcements of the official information resources of the Armenian Esports Federation (AEF).

5.2. The registration link will be available on April 8.

5․3․ Registration for the tournament ends three days before the start of the tournament.

5.4. For the registration the team leader is obliged to provide:

-    Passports of all members of the team

-    Discord ID

-    Email address

-    Tel.number

-    Team Logo

-   Any other information required by the AEF to qualify for the tournament before or during the tournament. 

5.5. The organizer reserves the right to change the registration period, close the registration ahead of time or extend it if necessary.

5.6. All necessary information provided by the participants must be in the official language :  Armenian language.

5.7. Providing incorrect information is the basis for granting a refusal to participate in the tournament or disqualification from the tournament.

  1.  Streaming of the matches

6.1. The official broadcast of the tournament takes place on the YouTube and Twitch channels.

6.2. Any match of the tournament can be selected by the administration for streaming. Players of the selected game can not refuse to be broadcasted.

6.3. The match starts only when the players and the broadcaster are ready.

6.4. Any personal or game streamings by players or studios are prohibited without the prior consent of the chief referee of the tournament.

  • Communication with referees

7.1. Communication with the tournament referees is carried out in the Discord chat by opening a general chat or through a private message (to write a private message, the participant needs to click on the username and select the “Write Private Message” in the open window). Participants are required to join the chat and confirm their team participation more than 60 minutes before the start of the tournament. For all these actions, the participant needs to click on a nickname , select "change nickname",  type the team name, and click "save".

7.2. All organizational, as well as controversial issues are resolved through messages on Discord chat with the tournament referees. From the position of the team, communication on the organization of matches and disputable situations is carried out exclusively by the captain, the manager, or the team coach. In order to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, the description of the problem should be constructively described in one message, with a link to the match and/or team, depending on the problem itself.

7.3. The communication of disputed situations is organized exclusively by the team captain. In case of violation of the rules by the opponents, the team captain must stop the game and contact the referee on Discord chat. 

7.4. Participants are required to maintain confidentiality when communicating with tournament organizers. All information submitted to the organizers and referees of the tournament or received from them during submission, discussion, applications, or appeals is confidential and cannot be published without the permission of the tournament organizers. 

  •  Complaint

8.1. The final decisions are made by the referees and can be complained about in the Discord chat. All complaints must be substantiated. In particular, screenshots should be used. Complaints are not accepted without a screenshot.

8.2. The complaint is submitted within 5 minutes after the end of the game, for that participant is required to contact the referee in the Discord chat. No complaint will be accepted 5 minutes after the end of the game. Only the losing team can file a complaint. The response to the complaint is accepted within 10 minutes after the end of the game. All complaints will be considered within 15 minutes after the submission of the complaint and then the final decision of the referee will be made. The final decision of the referees on the complaint is not subject to appeal. 

8.3. The captain or team manager must be present in Discord chat for at least 10 minutes after the end of the game.

8.4.  Complaint form:

  • The participant mentions the name of the team,for example: “I am the captain of the “Name” of the team.  
  • The participant specifies the reason for the complaint and shares reference to the corresponding game, for example: “The game(reference)”. The reason for the complaint ”. The complaint is presented in strict format on the Discord platform.

8.5. The team accused of violating the rules of the game has no right to start the next match without the referee's permission.

News and videos are created by the administration during the tournament. Tournament teams give the right to the administration of the tournament to use their logo, photos and player data to create a diverse content.

 

Rules and regulations may be supplemented or amended. All situations, which are not specified in the rules, will be interpreted at the discretion of the referee.
